The Loop 3.13.23
Breakfast OEPE Update
Another week of amazing results when it comes to our Breakfast OEPE. As we put our entire organization efforts around one goal we have achieved and are achieving some amazing things. Our average for this past week was 103 seconds and an improvement of 44 seconds vs last year. Month to date we are at 104 seconds! This has helped us improve so many other things along the way and we wanted to make sure you were aware. This past week's results areas of improvement include-Total peak results: OEPE decreasing by 18 seconds, R2P decreasing by 14 seconds, KVS decreasing by 6 seconds. All of which help our Big 6 results. Also, labor continues to improve in the morning even as we add people on. We will continue to focus on Breakfast OEPE as we make it like tying our shoes where we just know how. Please share with me, if possible, things that have helped you and your teams achieve this lofty goal. Is it a scoreboard that you are updating daily? Is it a messaging system between you and your management team? Is it new routines for your morning staff? There are plenty of things we have done and I would love to hear from you. This past week we had several restaurants that were not yet to our goal to include: 22424, 32257, 17850, 2504, 4231 and 3488. Please consider what we need to focus on this week to help our team all succeed together. Soon we will be switching our Wildly Important Goal to VOICE. This will have a big impact on our organization by keying in on several things and we are excited to move the needle in the same fashion we did with Breakfast OEPE. Be on the lookout for next steps there and what the expectations will be starting April 1st. In the meantime, let's button up those few remaining road bumps for Breakfast OEPE so we all can rise together.
Hamburger University Graduation
Congratulations to Dori & Heather on their recent graduation from Hamburger University!
OTP 3 Graduation
Congratulations to Jared on completing OTP3 training in Oakbrook and passing the test with flying colors. He is now one of only 4 people in the organization to hold that certification.
Community
This year's theme was Fire and Ice!
Michael, Keresa, Danelle, and Rich had a blast serving up Shamrock Shake Shots and Chicken Nuggets with Mcdonald's Hot Mustard to accompany the theme. We had over 400 hundred people come by our booth and reconnected with several local businesses. Thank you for everyone's help in making another community event successful.
Guest Shout Outs
Here is a guest shout out for Jesus at Monroe.
Jesus at Monroe WI Mc Donald's has a wonderful customer service attitude. He is always bubbly, smiling, says good morning , thanks us and bids us a good day. He is one of very few that work the 1st window in the drive through that don’t give you the impression like you are bothering them. I only know if you are having a bad day and you go through Mc D's drive through when Jesus is at the 1st window, his upbeat and jolly disposition just brightens the day, and you are unable to even recall why your day was bad when pulling in!! I did not get the Mgr. name that was at the pickup window, but she greets us the same as Jesus.
Here is a guest shout out for some employees at Verona Rd.
I visit the McDonalds on Verona Road every morning on my way to work. The employees are so friendly and brighten my morning - Jayme, Leslie, Erika, Paula - they each make me feel so welcome and start my day off on the right foot.

Team-as we look at results it is not our intent to upset anyone when looking at where our rankings are. It is the intent to draw awareness as we look to improve in these areas. If we do not know where we stand, how do we know what we need to do? Someone will always be last. Our mission is to make sure that whoever is in last has the tools, resources, and motivation to drive results forward. We appreciate all you and your teams efforts on all fronts, it doesn't go unnoticed!
Who’s On Bottom – Month To Date
Listening Survey
This year’s listening survey starts tomorrow (15th). Please ensure that the posters are up for easy access to the survey. Utilize the employee roster that was printed for you restaurant to track completion, don’t forget to add new hires, and don’t forget to complete it yourself. This survey is a great way for our team (managers and crew) to let their voices be heard. Please ask the office or your operations supervisor if you have questions.
EPB2B Experienced A Problem Bottom Two Boxes
Trying to understand how EPB2B is measured? Please see the attached guide that is being used to help explain it a bit better. This may lead to a few more questions but work with your supervisor to help work through this. VOICE and EPB2B are a great way to measure our success through our guests’ eyes. Let's make sure we know what the numbers are telling us so we may continue to improve not just our operational results but what the guests’ expectations are.

Just a reminder that the procedure changed for pulling 10:1 patties off the grill. They are now pulled off and stacked in two groups of 3. This new procedure should already be started, if not, please start ASAP.
Loomis Safe Access
Please ensure your location does not have any obstructions in front of the safe. This will give Loomis easy access to the smart safe.
If you have a manual drop in the safe you will need a hand written deposit slip made out to ensure the money gets credited to your location. The driver will not automatically pick up any manual drops you will have to make sure when he opens the safe to give those manual deposits with the deposit slip to the driver.
Auto Greeter
Please look at the attached new guide McDonald’s would like us to implement for our auto greeters. Please complete the steps by March 21st to ensure we are meeting the requirements.
