Digital Experience Now that table service has started at most of the restaurants, how can we be more consistent while delivering orders? A best bet is to always ask “Do you have everything you need?”. Ask this when delivering a curbside, a MOP table service order AND when delivering a standard order to the table with the table tent. This means that all guests receiving an order through the app or table service will be asked the same question. If there is a name on the sticker, say the name. If it says loyal customer or is an inappropriate name, you can say “Hi, thank you for using the McDonald’s app. Here is your order, do you have everything you need? This is 41 seconds faster than last year. We had two restaurants finish over 100 seconds faster than they were last year. What an awesome accomplishment! We had 27 of our 33 restaurants finish faster than last year. In our second week of fully focusing on being fast we are seeing some great trends. Let’s keep the ball rolling and impress our teams and our guests as we set the bar high. The following restaurants did not finish under 120 and will need to adjust: 22424, 31419, 2504, 4231, 3488, 5612 and 32257. I would encourage resetting the standard with our shift managers and helping them see what success looks like. Pie Day Want to pie your supervisor? The Patch that sells the most pies (units per thousand) will bet to PIE THE SUPERVISOR!! Pies Sell all the pies you can March 14th -16th with all pies will be .50¢!! < Back The Loop 5.30.23 2022 Outstanding Operations Contributor Congratulations to Vice President of Operations Eric Jaworski for being awarded the 2022 Outstanding Operations Contributor. This annual award goes to the top 1 or 2 operations performers in the Chicago Field Office (IL, WI, MI, IN, IL & IA). It is awarded to leaders who show elite excellence in results and contributions throughout the McDonald’s organization. Eric’s leadership has resulted in the Bucciferro Family McDonald’s Organization leading the GWOS market for the #1 position in performance drivers as well as guest and employee experiences. Habitat House Build Habitat build day #1 is officially in the books. Guy, Eric, and the supervisor teams put in a hard day of work helping to build a house! Operations: Enhance the guest experience during breakfast by June 30th as measured by speed at 120 and Voice at 85%. Technology: Have a 90% roster of OTP1+ certified in restaurant OTPs by June 15th. Fix It: Have 90% trained in restaurant fix it team by July 1st. Public Relations: Ownership of community events back to restaurant leadership by July 1st. Operations Coordinator : Virtual orientation version 1 ready for implementation for the website by May 31st. Draft is completed! Training: Create an interactive Shift Leadership Roadmap by June 15th. Office Manager: Streamline all AMEX policies/procedures by July 2023. Human Resources: Office staff 100% trained in employee relations by June 2nd. The exams in June will be on June 19th from 8a-2p in Madison and June 20th from 130p-4p in Rockford. Exam Form Registration Iron Arch In-Person Leadership Transitions We need learners for the next in-person LT class on July 19th 9a-6p and July 20th 9a-5p. Registration Link Grimace Birthday Meal Grimace’s Birthday Meal includes a limited-time Grimace’s Birthday Shake, medium fry, and the option of a Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets. Grimace’s Birthday Shake can only be obtained by purchasing the meal. The shake is made with our creamy, vanilla soft serve, blended with the “Grimace” berry shake flavor. The Iron Arch Selling date is June 12th. Please clean, sanitize and ready the 4th flavor syrup line now so you are ready. Training materials will be in the Nabit kit arriving around June 2nd and on the Nabit Webcast on June 7th. Crew t-shirts will be arriving with the Nabit kit. Please do not distribute the shirts until the promotion start date of June 12th. If you have a smaller crew size, please work within your patch to send the shirts to larger crew restaurants. < Back Insurance Benefits For Crew: After 1 year of employment, health Insurance is offered through Blue Cross Blue Shield for employees working a minimum average of 30 hours per week. Open Enrollment is held once per year – usually in November/December for January enrollment. Insurance enrollment is NOT offered at any other time of the year UNLESS employee becomes newly eligible, i.e., their one-year anniversary, a newly promoted or newly hired manager, or the employee loses their current health care coverage. Managers are eligible for insurance coverage immediately upon becoming a manager.
