Energy Box Override We've been noticing a lot of use on the override switch for the lighting on EnergyBox. This override switch does not control anything with the thermostats. This switch is for emergencies or use when light is needed outside of the schedule. If you need your light schedule adjusted, please email energybox@iammcd.com and we can update your lighting. School Calendar Update 2023/2024 An email has been sent out to all restaurants for employees to update their school location for the next school year. Please print the sheet out and have all the students fill out their correct school location. This is very important to make sure they are connected to the correct school for scheduling purposes. Please email a picture of the sheet to Tiffany by Tuesday, August 1, 2023. New Hire Email Form A new digital training schedule is now available for new hires. The form is called the New Hire Email. The new hire email is a training schedule for all new hires once Maria has sent you an email that the new hire is ready for a training schedule. This form is located under the People & General Manager tab. We will start using this to send all new hires their training schedule. It is very simple and easy to fill out. All the manager needs to do is put in your restaurant location, the new hires name and email address, the general manager's name, and the training schedule, and who they will meet with on their first day. Once the form is submitted a copy of it will be sent to the new hire, the general manager, and the restaurant email to be printed and posted for all managers to review. You need to watch for those emails from Iron Arch Management (123formbuilder) and approve them right away. If you are not receiving them, check your SPAM folder and/or notify office@iammcd.com . This form does not go to payroll for wage adjustments until it is approved by the GM. Once the form is received by payroll, the employee will see the raise in 1 to 2 paychecks. New Term Code A new term reason code “TERMED/CONFIRMED VIA NO SHOW” is now available. This means a new hire who does not show up and never clocks in can be termed without an impact to your restaurant’s turnover numbers. This will only work if that employee has never clocked in before. It will not allow you to use this code if any employee has clocked in before. Voice Results Please see the attached Voice results for June 16th – 30th. The Huntley Patch will bonus over $300 for this two-week period. Great job! A total of $1,095 will be paid out, however, $3,180 was left on the table. Minor Work Permits – Wisconsin Only Minor work permits can now be applied for online. The department of work force now sends the work permits directly to the restaurants. If you receive a piece of mail that looks like below, please let mariaz@iammcd.com know and email a picture of the envelope before we open it. < Back Competitive Wages We want you! New hires will automatically receive a 50¢/hour Loyalty raise after 60 days (unless they are at the maximum wage for their position). Bi-annual performance reviews. All team members receive a performance review every 6 months – and, based on their performance over the preceding 6 months, most will receive a raise. Training raises. Beyond training for their position as a crew member, Iron Arch continues to offer our employees opportunities to train for advancement in their career and that training is always accompanied by raises for completion of each step. After becoming a successful crew member, employees can train to become a Crew Trainer with each of the three modules earning an additional .25/hour raise. Once our crew members turn 18, they can start the path to becoming a Floor Supervisor, Swing Manager, Department Manager and beyond. Previous Next

We have recently found out that you are unable to upload receipts when the charge is pending, it will not stay attached. Daily Grill Cleaning It is now more important than ever to correctly clean the grill daily. In addition to correctly cleaning the grill, it is important to steam clean the grill every 15-30 minutes to keep it performing throughout the day. Scan the QR Code for a short daily grill cleaning video. Reminder - Shake Machine Cleaning Taylor Midwest and Taylor Wisconsin will be contacting your restaurants to set up the brush butler schedule. These will be on a 28-day cycle and will take place in the morning. If you have any questions about this program, please let your leadership know. Registration Link Paid Time Off (PTO) Benefits for Crew We’ve updated our PTO Benefits for Crew and Crew Trainers. Effective June 1, 2023, our crew no longer have a waiting period to use their accrued PTO hours. This means that all Iron Arch McDonald's employees can utilize their Paid Time Off as soon as they accrue it. Please open your February Nabit training kits (photo below) for more information and training materials. Ready On Arrival Ready on Arrival begins on February 22nd. There are now training videos on the ROA Nabit page on @mcd. If you missed the webcast, the recording is on there as well ( LINK ). While ROA may not seem difficult, there are some procedural changes for all pickup points at the restaurants. Please watch the training videos and open the NABIT ROA box that will arrive at your restaurant. Training is also available for managers and crew through Fred. All GM Meeting Our general manager/staff meeting will be held on March 1st from 9a-4p at the Beloit Sports Center. The Beloit Sport Center is located at 557 E Grand Ave, Beloit, WI 53511. You do not have to wear a McDonald’s work uniform if you do not want to, business casual is fine. Lunch will be served around 12. Digital Drivers While we look to continually increase our digital footprint, we need to ensure that our guests can quickly see where they can go to complete their digital transaction. Please complete the MOP Stall Survey by March 7th. In-Person Leadership Transitions There is still room in the March 29th – 31st in-person leadership transitions. This 3-day course will be held at the office and be combined with some operational instruction at a restaurant. All students must have all 16 modules completed prior to the class. McDonald’s Famous Duo Now that the word is out and everyone knows that Cardi B and Offset are the famous duo meal, you can hand out the new t-shirts to your crew. Frozen Beverage Planned Maintenance As part of the FCB deployment program established with KBI and McDonald’s, the FCB PM will be completed by Ken’s Beverage for each of the annually scheduled preventative maintenance visits. Your location(s) will be contacted by Ken’s Beverage by phone 3 to 7 business days prior to the PM to confirm the scheduled date for the PM visit. The PM will take approximately 60-90 minutes on site, PM will not interfere with any peak period time frames and have minimal impact on the normal operations of the location. Boil Outs Don’t forget it is time again for boil outs. Please see the attached schedule for your date and directions. RHS Security Patch Updates We have a few restaurants that have some updates upcoming. You'll know the update is running if you see the below message on any of your registers. This will cause your POS Open to take a little longer. Please do not reboot any of your POS devices until everything is finished, and call ATOS if it takes longer than 30min or you can't complete your POS for some reason.
