We have recently found out that you are unable to upload receipts when the charge is pending, it will not stay attached. Going forward please keep your receipts for 60 days, upload them after they have been cleared, and reminder emails will be sent on Thursday - on what is missing. Please have all your receipts uploaded by the 15 of every month. Best Burger We now have 22 restaurants on Best Burger! Please utilize the attached execution shop to ensure that your restaurant is continuing to maintain the key points of Best Burger after your deployment day. Daily Grill Cleaning It is now more important than ever to correctly clean the grill daily. In addition to correctly cleaning the grill, it is important to steam clean the grill every 15-30 minutes to keep it performing throughout the day. Scan the QR Code for a short daily grill cleaning video. Reminder - Shake Machine Cleaning Taylor Midwest and Taylor Wisconsin will be contacting your restaurants to set up the brush butler schedule. These will be on a 28-day cycle and will take place in the morning. If you have any questions about this program, please let your leadership know. Registration Link Paid Time Off (PTO) Benefits for Crew We’ve updated our PTO Benefits for Crew and Crew Trainers. Effective June 1, 2023, our crew no longer have a waiting period to use their accrued PTO hours. This means that all Iron Arch McDonald's employees can utilize their Paid Time Off as soon as they accrue it. To use your accrued PTO, you simply need to check the amount of accrued PTO you have in your bank through your Paycor app. (Paycor account not set up? See the attached instruction sheet). There are now training videos on the ROA Nabit page on @mcd. If you missed the webcast, the recording is on there as well ( LINK ). While ROA may not seem difficult, there are some procedural changes for all pickup points at the restaurants. Please watch the training videos and open the NABIT ROA box that will arrive at your restaurant. Training is also available for managers and crew through Fred. All GM Meeting Our general manager/staff meeting will be held on March 1st from 9a-4p at the Beloit Sports Center. The Beloit Sport Center is located at 557 E Grand Ave, Beloit, WI 53511. Frozen Beverage Planned Maintenance As part of the FCB deployment program established with KBI and McDonald’s, the FCB PM will be completed by Ken’s Beverage for each of the annually scheduled preventative maintenance visits. Your location(s) will be contacted by Ken’s Beverage by phone 3 to 7 business days prior to the PM to confirm the scheduled date for the PM visit. The PM will take approximately 60-90 minutes on site, PM will not interfere with any peak period time frames and have minimal impact on the normal operations of the location. Boil Outs Don’t forget it is time again for boil outs. Please see the attached schedule for your date and directions. RHS Security Patch Updates We have a few restaurants that have some updates upcoming. You'll know the update is running if you see the below message on any of your registers. This will cause your POS Open to take a little longer. The first thing we should ask them to do is disconnect from the McDonald’s Free WiFi. If they are on the WiFi, they have to have already agreed to terms to get the app to work correctly. Squadle Checklists If you are seeing items like restrooms (gas station restaurants only) and play places on your squadle tablets for cleaning, travel paths etc… please contact squadle to have them remove it from your lists. This should help our team save time and build efficiency. Outside Digital Menu Boards We have been seeing a couple Outdoor Digital Menu Boards that have been starting to discolor because of the sun. Please take the time to check on your own Outdoor Digital Menu Boards and submit a ticket to Tech if you see your DMBs are starting to discolor. Product Outage Audit Please do a POS audit to ensure that your registers only have current products. Email tech with your list of items to remove. Take some time to look at LTO items (i.e., Shortcake McFlurry, all Shamrock) Save the Date Please save the date for the next combined GWOS/ILIA General Manager webcast. In House Fix It Survey Don’t forget to complete this short survey about fix it in your restaurant by April 11th. Cheese Trays The time has finally come. The station guides, smaller trays and training materials for tempering cheese were in the April Nabit kit. Tempering cheese will also be covered on this week’s webcast. You can begin using the new trays ASAP. Please ask your supervisor or consult the Nabit page on @mcd if you have questions. Multi-Factor Authenticator Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a security feature that enhances application security by requiring the use of both something you know (your username & password) and something you have (Authenticator app on your phone) to log into applications containing restricted data. Please ensure that your managers who need to access McDonald’s websites have set up their MFA. Please see the attached directions for help.
