Please ensure that all POP is removed, extra bags of ranch are counted and wasted, and the flavors to love boxes are put away until they are used for the new sandwich in June. Airgas Cylinders Does your restaurant have more than two back up cylinders? Each restaurant should have two full back up cylinders. The next time your restaurant needs a full cylinder, call 800-772-8144 and tell them how many empty cylinders need to be picked up and how many full cylinders need to be delivered. They will only pick up when making a delivery for a full cylinder. The cylinders must be visible and all in one spot where they typically would drop off. Iron Arch In-Person Leadership Transitions We are excited to announce the next in-person LT class will be July 19th 9a-6p and July 20th 9a-5p. Learners must have the Shift Leadership Curriculum completed to 93% to attend. Email amyo@iammcd.com to register a learner. Running Great Restaurants As we continue McDonald’s and self-graded RGR visits, please utilize the attached RGR form to achieve, and then maintain, RGR standards. The form covers food safety, cleanliness, service, quality & shift leadership. June Sanitation Exams The exams in June will be on June 19th from 8a-2p in Madison and June 20th from 130p-4p in Rockford. If you want a learner for the exam, they must be signed up by June 6th. Learners will need to have completed 100% of the training and taken the online practice exam by June 16th to take the exam. All learners who do not complete the training prior to the exam will not be able to attend, must sign up again, and documentation will be given. NABIT Kits New NABIT kits will arrive in your restaurants on or around June 2nd. Please be aware that smallares and training materials for the Cheesy Jalapeno Bacon QPC will be induced. DO NOT misplace this box. NABIT Webcast – Save the Date The next NABIT webcast will be on June 7th. The topics include Cheesy Jalapeno Bacon QPC, 100 Days of Summer, Crew Account Access, Digital/Delivery/DT, Bakery News, B2B shake/sundae and the June Birthday Meal. Registration Link Tempering/Thaw Stickers Every item that is thawed or tempered should have two stickers. The secondary life sticker and a sticker when the product can start to be used. In House Fix It Survey Don’t forget to complete this short survey about fix it in your restaurant by April 11th. Cheese Trays The time has finally come. The station guides, smaller trays and training materials for tempering cheese were in the April Nabit kit. Tempering cheese will also be covered on this week’s webcast. You can begin using the new trays ASAP. Please ask your supervisor or consult the Nabit page on @mcd if you have questions. Multi-Factor Authenticator Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a security feature that enhances application security by requiring the use of both something you know (your username & password) and something you have (Authenticator app on your phone) to log into applications containing restricted data. Please ensure that your managers who need to access McDonald’s websites have set up their MFA. Please see the attached directions for help. Please take an hour and watch the recording to learn about changes and what is coming up. English Recording Spanish Recording Forms Update! We have been working hard on updating the website and forms to reflect the update from Patches to Districts. Along with this, we have been switching the service that hosts all the forms. Soon you will see some of the forms have a new look and work a little differently! We are also seeing that form submissions are more reliable when making it to their intended recipients and getting stuck less at the Thank You Page. But we didn't think of everything and may have made some mistakes. If you see any reference to a Patch where you think it should say District after Thursday 8/10, or any other errors you may find, please let us know on the troubleshooting app under Technology. There is an option for Form/Website Update! Sauce Gun Single Nozzle We will be switching out to a single nozzle for the sauce guns. These green nozzles and clear caps were included in the August NABIT kit. Please start these no later than August 29th . The blue nozzles can be thrown away. Each restaurant will be receiving automatic quarterly shipments of replacement nozzles. Please replace any old station guides with those in the kit. Food Safety Best Bet If you are not already doing this during food safety, please work with your teams and begin ASAP. During food safety, place the towel that is being used to sanitize the probe in a small hot cup. This allows us to use a towel for a purpose without it sitting out potentially causing a visit issue. August Famous Meal We will be starting our next famous meal on August 14th. While the celebrity has not been named, we do know the meal contents. The meal contains a medium fry, medium drink, a sweet & sour cup, and the guests’ choice of a Big Mac, 10pc Nugget or QPC. If the guest does not want sweet & sour, the regular meal keys need to be used. The sweet and sour cup is in special packaging that gives our guests an opportunity to download special offers and merchandise. August Sanitation Exam – Madison There are two remaining seats in the English sanitation exam on August 21st in Madison. The next English class will be in October. If you have someone, please complete the Food Safety Exam Registration . Sky Carp tickets are still available for the rest of the season! Only three weeks of home games left. Request your tickets now! Bun Steamer Setting Changes If you have a Prince Castle model 625MFY or 625MFYC steamer the steam time needs to be changed from 12 seconds (6 cycles) to 8 seconds (2 cycles). Please see the attached information sheet. Please complete the changes by August 29th.
