Please have all your receipts uploaded by the 15 of every month. Best Burger We now have 22 restaurants on Best Burger! Daily Grill Cleaning It is now more important than ever to correctly clean the grill daily. In addition to correctly cleaning the grill, it is important to steam clean the grill every 15-30 minutes to keep it performing throughout the day. Scan the QR Code for a short daily grill cleaning video. Reminder - Shake Machine Cleaning Taylor Midwest and Taylor Wisconsin will be contacting your restaurants to set up the brush butler schedule. These will be on a 28-day cycle and will take place in the morning. If you have any questions about this program, please let your leadership know. Registration Link Paid Time Off (PTO) Benefits for Crew We’ve updated our PTO Benefits for Crew and Crew Trainers. Effective June 1, 2023, our crew no longer have a waiting period to use their accrued PTO hours. This means that all Iron Arch McDonald's employees can utilize their Paid Time Off as soon as they accrue it. To use your accrued PTO, you simply need to check the amount of accrued PTO you have in your bank through your Paycor app. (Paycor account not set up? See the attached instruction sheet). The new procedure is as follows: Place your change order with Loomis once this change order is delivered you immediately drop the amount of the money in the smart safe. Please start this process with your next change order. Call the office or email gianna@iammcd.com with any questions. Employee Appreciation Thank you to all the restaurants that participated in Employee Appreciation week last week. From the pictures that were submitted (160!), it looks like a lot of fun was had in the restaurants! The drawing for the 6 patch winners will be drawn on Thursday 4/27. SMX Feedback Survey We have completed the first session of SMX class. Thank you for sending learners to the sessions. As always, we want to know how we did and what changes we can make for future classes. Please have your learner complete the SMX Feedback Survey about their experience. It is anonymous so we can receive open and honest feedback. They can also access it on the Manager Tab. Let us know how we did and what we can do to make it even better! Voice Results The Beloit, Huntley and Rockford Patches all finished with over $200 being paid out! Huntley edged everyone out with a total of $285. Overall, $1,145 will be paid out for April 1st – 15th. Left on the table, another $2,785. Please see the attached results. eProduction – Tempering Cheese The new tempering cheese procedure means that the eProduction settings need to be changed on the Thaw & Tempering screens. In-Person Leadership Transitions There is still room in the March 29th – 31st in-person leadership transitions. This 3-day course will be held at the office and be combined with some operational instruction at a restaurant. All students must have all 16 modules completed prior to the class. Please email amyo@iammcd.com if you have any students. Loomis Change Orders When you email your request for your change order you need to put the change order amount into the safe. Think about it as going to the bank and taking the money for exchange for the change you want. Please remember to put the amount of money for the change order in the safe on the day that the change order has been placed. Routine deposit audits are showing that many locations are not “paying” for their change order through the safe. There are no exceptions for any change order. Frozen Beverage Planned Maintenance As part of the FCB deployment program established with KBI and McDonald’s, the FCB PM will be completed by Ken’s Beverage for each of the annually scheduled preventative maintenance visits. Your location(s) will be contacted by Ken’s Beverage by phone 3 to 7 business days prior to the PM to confirm the scheduled date for the PM visit. The PM will take approximately 60-90 minutes on site, PM will not interfere with any peak period time frames and have minimal impact on the normal operations of the location. Boil Outs Don’t forget it is time again for boil outs. Please see the attached schedule for your date and directions. Each restaurant will receive their specific sized HVAC filters every 2 months. They will be addressed to the Restaurant team for someone to self-install. They will come from filterbuy. Replacing these air filters routinely will help reduce the stress on our Roof Top Units (RTUs) and help keep them running efficiently. If you have any questions, please let your fixit team know. National Fry Day To celebrate National Fry Day on July 13th, our digital guests will be able to get a free fry. This offer is available for any sized fry, one deal per person and it is only available on the app. Please ensure that your restaurant is ready to serve Gold Standard Fries during this promotion. GM Webcast Please put in your calendars the GM Webcast on July 18th from 2-230. This webcast will be on WebEx and the log on information is on the Iron Arch calendar. Egg Scramblers Egg scramblers will be required equipment for Simplified Breakfast, which is coming in the 4th quarter. The class is on August 21st from 8a-2p and is in English. Rockford is full. Both Madison and Rockford will be holding a Spanish sanitation exam in September. Please check your roster for anyone who could benefit from this exam in Spanish (or anyone expiring soon). Food Safety Exam Registration. Bakery Cases Please leave the bakery cases in place even after the depletion of the remaining bakery items. We will continue selling cookies out of the case as well as displaying the pies. It was a huge two weeks! Four patches were awarded over $200, totaling $4,025. There was still some left on the table ($2,800). Beloit Sky Carp Over the last few months, you may have noticed we have a new sign added to the ABC Stadium in Beloit! We are excited to kick off the 2023 season as new partners with the Beloit Sky Carp! This Friday, April 7th, for opening day, we will give out promo items and set up our Bucciferro Red tent under our new sign at the East gate of the Stadium. Grimace will be making a special appearance on the field, and our very own Guy will be throwing out the first pitch to kick off the season! If you are around, come by and check it out!! < Back Insurance Benefits For Crew: After 1 year of employment, health Insurance is offered through Blue Cross Blue Shield for employees working a minimum average of 30 hours per week. Managers are eligible for insurance coverage immediately upon becoming a manager. Open Enrollment is held once per year – usually in November/December for January enrollment. Insurance enrollment is NOT offered at any other time of the year UNLESS employee becomes newly eligible, i.e., their one-year anniversary, a newly promoted or newly hired manager, or the employee loses their current health care coverage.
